 Dr. Dennis Weaver is the CEO and President of EastPoint Health, LLC, an organization specializing in healthcare strategy with a particular interest in enhanced primary care, care management and information technology solutions.
Prior to starting EastPoint Health, LLC, Dr. Weaver was the Chief Medical Officer for one of the world’s largest consulting organizations. Throughout his career, he has focused on strategic healthcare solutions for population health management, methods to address the rising cost of healthcare, and the influence of information technology on future business models.
Dr. Weaver has more than 20 years of senior executive experience in a broad range of healthcare leadership positions and maintains board certification in multiple specialties. He has practiced primary care and obstetrics and gynecology in numerous clinical and business environments. Dr. Weaver has held numerous senior leadership positions within multi-hospital systems, managed care organizations, and payors.

Dr. Weaver is an accomplished public speaker and author in the peer reviewed medical literature. He is regularly asked to present to healthcare and business leaders on the future direction of the industry. He is a Certified Physician Executive, Diplomat of the American Board of Medical Management, Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Member of the American College of Physician Executives. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Weaver is a distinguished graduate from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Basic Sciences. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center where he graduated with distinction in laparoscopic surgery. He also trained in Flight Surgery at the School of Aerospace Medicine. Dr. Weaver earned his Master in Business Administration degree at the Olin School of Business within Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Weaver has received numerous awards and honors for his work in clinical medicine, medical management, and technology integration.
