As Chief Operating Officer of EastPoint Health, LLC, Edward Ost handles administrative, financial, sales, marketing, and direct-report management functions of the corporation. Ed’s extensive sales, marketing and business experience has been a crucial element in the successful development and growth of EastPoint Health. Prior to joining with Dr. Dennis Weaver to create EPH, Ed produced exceptional sales and marketing results for several healthcare-related companies, including a radiopharmacy for Mallinckrodt Medical’s Nuclear Medicine Division, Northstar Benefits and Zoll Medical.

In addition to a strong background in market development and process implementation, Ed has an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurial endeavors. He has created, financed or mentored several start-up enterprises in the medical, personal services and insurance markets. Ed also has expertise in franchise conception, operations, legal concerns, and supervision.

Education and Experience

After earning his degree in Marketing in 1981 at Missouri State University, Ed became an Account Manager for Quaker Oats and General Foods, quickly moving up to District Manager. Ed’s team delivered annual sales volume in excess of $12 million, and in 1989, he won the company’s National First Place award.
